North Central Career Centers On Site Resources

At the North Central Career Centers locations we support you with the resources you need to conduct an effective job search such as:

  • Open computer lab

  • Library (including directories, newspapers, magazines and job search and career strategies books)

  • College/Training Vendor Brochures

  • Self -paced software tutorials

  • Job Postings

  • And more!

Computer Lab

The Computer Lab is equipped with computers for self-service. Staff is available for basic computer assistance on a walk-in basis. Access the internet for job search activities, write your resume on Microsoft Word and print a crisp copy on our laser printer.

Library

Visit our library and research labor market information or read books on the latest job searching techniques. The Library provides a wealth of job search information in one convenient location. You may also browse College/Training Vendor Brochures.

Tutorials

You may want to spend some time on our Self-Paced Computer Tutorials to update and review your skills in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
